CTC Notary is done! Out of business....
Their web site is down, fax and toll free numbers are disconnected.
Local number is disconnected and the 'preferred' and mobile numbers have already been recycled and belong to other people.
Kinda sucks when a sinking ship grabs a few free jobs out of us as they go down.

Wow. Thank God I don't have any outstanding invoices! You are right that they don't have a message on the cell phone anymore.
I sent them an email just now though.....just want to hear what happened.
If I hear anything I will let you know. They may contact me since they don't owe me any money.
I sure hate it when they just "disappear" without any notice or payment! I am so sorry you have to go through this.
I am becoming so scared to work with any new or smaller companies anymore. You don't know when they will just disappear!!! Ugh.

I share your sentiment Christine about working for new companies in this environment. I had only one outstanding invoice from last year. It would be great it that record were zero for this year.

I checked with my sister who works for CW and she said they were required to change their name....didn't have any other details, but I can ask her...if they have forwarding information, and it would be helpful for some of your to have that, I'm happy to share. They are cheap too....collected $225 per signing from CW and only paid out $85 to the notary.

I just got done talking to a lady at Land America in Clakamas, OR and she was unaware that they had closed down. I fact she just got an invoice for them today 05/19. I have an emergency number for them of 916-616-7070 but when I called it a guy answered it and then hung up on me.
