I did a closing in early jan. I've called and promised a check but as of 5 months later, no check

I had problems with them last year...most of mine went over 60 days and one actually took over 100 days to collect. Very painfull process, so I black listed them and when they called me again to schedule, I told them to remove me from their call list due to non/late payment issues.

They called me the other day and I said no to them and their fee. This was the first call I have received from them here in MD.

Welcome to the club. They got me for 5 signings. They said they're not going to pay me because I objected to waiting 6 months for my fee. I think Closing Quest may be owned by Ace Mortgage Co. Ace Mortgage is here in Oregon, as well as in many states across the country. I see a connection, because when I called to complain to Todd at Closing Quest, I immediately got a call from someone at Ace Mortgage threatening me. They sound like gangsters. I'm in the process of filing a small claims action. I also complained about Ace Mortgage to Oregon Dept of Justice and Dept of Corporations. And FBI for Internet Fraud. DD

as it reminds me of my current notary biz - as in, its in the Grave (dead) or I'm Gravely Ill with these low ballers not paying or SS not paying what is due...anyway, thanks for putting up with my giggles...

But in all seriousness, its time to start the collection process and let someone else call and chase them around for your money...
