Ever had docs to print slowly?

Why are there times when docs just print slowly now matter how high tech your printer is?

are we talking about memory for printer or computer? I bought memory chip for hp1320 printer. Was told I would have to send it back to the mfg to install.

>I bought memory chip for hp1320 printer. Was told I would have to send it back to the mfg to install.<

Nonsense.

Face the BACK of the printer, open what is THEN the RIGHT side plate cover (open the front where the cartridge goes to finish being able to lift the cover off).

The memory "slot" it clearly visible there, IF there is a module already there,

▄ lift off the white side clips to release the module out of the "slot" and lift it carefully out,

▄ then, simply insert the new memory module orientated the same way, card edge with glod contacts with 2 notches UP, it will ONLY go in one way,

▄ CAREFULLY push the module into the slot so that the white clips finally move and "click" into the side notches (as you would mother board memory) to lock the module in the slot.

The printer Properties will have to be reset to recognize the new memory.

▄ Open the "Printer and Faxes" module in your Windows setup (from the Start Button menu in XP),

▄ right click on the 1320 listing, and then select "Properties" from the menu,

▄ then click on the "Device Settings" tab at the top of the dialog box,

▄ in the "Installable Options" section at the bottom of the settings there, there is a drop-down menu to select the size of the module inserted, your selections are 16Mb, 24Mb, 32Mb, 48Mb, 80Mb and 144Mb (max memory that can be added will be 144 Mb)

Your printer with new memory should be ready to use.

I hope this helps!

It's usually printer memory or scan resolution....

Upgrading your memory will probably help..... you can never have too much memory.
Beyond that the bigger problem is that title companies scan the docs at too high of resolution...... for documents never go higher than 300 dpi (that's more than adequate for loan docs) but some people insist on scanning at 600 or 1200 dpi or even higher....... all you've done is create this huge bloated file that will take longer to send and longer to process and print. I tried to explain this to a local title company and the person I was talking to told me that she always scans at 1200 dpi ....... that way she can be sure that no pages are missed.......... huh? what did I miss? but she was serious and I could talk her out of it.

If it is a pdf doc then check to see if your printer has selected docs and stamps. If so change it to docs
