GOOD NEWS!!!

HALLELUHA!!!

My brother just called me, he was back to the house... The house is fine, scared burned and bulldozed all around but the house is fine.

One of the loggers talked Xena my dog into his truck... she's at the animal shelter and they'll keep her till we're back in.

Sheriffs had 3 young guys in our house pokin' around with no good reason. My brother gave them a glimpse of the 9 in his pocket and told them staying would be hazardous to their health... the Sheriff reminded everyone that martial law was in effect... they left post haste.

Looks like I'll go back tomorrow and start doing laundry... at least that's the news at the moment.

I like it when a story has a happy ending...

especially the part about Xena being found. Good to hear, Gary - hope your neighbors made out as well as you did, but the important part is that everyone's alive and well.

my daughter in Felton. She was not affected, but she said the forest where she does her running was ablaze. So happy to hear that things are good for most if not all!
