Half of a signing..

I took a deal for Half of a signing.. the husband was in Florida, so someone handled the
signing on that end, and I got the wife here on this end..
Seems the Notary in FLA messed up the hand written dates on the RTC - and I have not
rec'd the usual Notification from the signing service that my work was approved & that I
will get paid.. (they dont want invoices - instead they send a work receipt to notaries..)
I'm going to contact them on it, but I think it might make me think twice about accepting
deals where I have to rely on someone else to do their work right.. Frown
Has this happened to anyone else?

Well, it can be a problem so I'd get on the phone right away while all the particulars are fresh.

First half a royal mess

I was overnighted the 2nd part of a split closing for a signing and the package was a royal mess. The package was redone and I was the 1st half. They made the 1st notary go back out at her expense to close the 2nd half the next day.

I'd much rather be the first NSA ...

... than the second.

As other people have said, there are so many unprofessional people out there that the package can be a nightmare. I've always called immediately when something has been amiss.

Being the first NSA give me a chance to set a good example. If I know who the second NSA is going to be I frequently call or email with a heads up. It has always been appreciated!
