Alice this is my experience. Did two closings for them. One 1/30/08 and the other around 4/15/08 (?). Paid on the 4/15/08 closing within two weeks or so. Having a problem receiving payment on the 1/30/08 closing. Called, emailed and faxed invoice too many times to mention. Got the run around on the phone. Excuses were the accountant was not in, the accountant will be in later etc. I was transferred to numerous voice mails, left messages etc. Why did I accept the second assignment you ask? When I received the call from a Denise O'Brien, I explained to her I was not paid for the 1/30 assignment and this would be a problem, she did promise me that she will take care of it and to send the invoice to her. I believed her. I closed the second loan with some issues after the borrower refused to sign the first time. Got home received a call to go back out and close, I did, and was paid. This week I called Denise O'Brien to say I still did not receive payment and what I got was a nasty, attitude filled, loud mouth person yelling at me telling me she does not handle payments and I need to talk to the accounting department. I reminded her about our conversation when I took the last closing, but this did not help she continued with her tirade about them always paying their notaries. Her demeaning tone became so overbearing that I started yelling so I could get a word in, which I was unsuccessful at and she hung up the phone on me. Alice this is the first company I plan to take to court for payment. Base on principle. I had planned to file in small claims court this morning but was unable to, something came up. I will before the end of next week. Good luck to you!
P.S.: Please also note she was not the only employee I found to be rude and condescending at this company.
