Southeast Equity....Ohio

Just got the bankruptcy paperwork today. Another one bit the dust. I haven't looked at my Quickbooks yet to see what they owe me. I'm almost scared to look.

They had a great office in PA and I enjoyed working with them. Last year, they downsized and moved everything to the Ohio office.

This was a title company people, not a signing service. No one is immune and we all are learning this the hard way.

I only had 1 experience with them and it was awful. I guess they were starting to go under when I did one for them. Had to beg, threaten and get down right nasty with them to get them to pay me. So in my view, good ridence (sp).

Well grrrr. They closed in Jan or maybe early Feb '08, story was that the owner was merely retiring. I'm still holding an unpaid invoice (Jan 15th - I thought that was the DAY the doors closed) and have been hunting these folks through the public records of OH, but no luck getting paid.

I haven't received any BK papers, and that's yet another bad sign - no, that's TWO bad signs! Is there a contact agent named that you might be able to share?
