Sure..when Pigs Fly

Did a signing for Closing quest and still waiting for payment from 10/7/09. Ricki, their accountant said in Jan..oh, so sorry, I'll get your check of today....we are in May now, several faxes,calls,emails later, I get a call for a need for a "rush signing" in my area....I asked the person calling why on earth I would do a signing for a company that stiffs the notaries....

Anyone else getting the same run around lately?

You can most likely write that one off as bad debt. It's almost impossible to collect from Closing Quest. I had problems on 2 that I did for them last yesr and the 2nd one took over 100 days to collect. I think the only reason they paid me was because I sent 2 certified letters explaining that I was going to turn them over to an attorney for collection. Then, me and my attorney (a friend of mine) bombarded them with email and phone calls. One of the manager guys over there, I think his name is Alan, is a complete jack a??, so don't waste time talking to him. He is very unprofessional and is most likely one of the main reasons they're having issues. Good luck .

I just collected from Closing Quest. They owed me for 4 signings. I sent numerous invoices and threatened them with Small Claims & other things. They ignored me until I called the FBI Fraud division. The FBI must have called them because a couple days later, I got a check. Report them to the FBI, BBB and anyone else you can think of. Don't let them get away with it. The squeaky wheel gets the oil. I always get my money, I make sure of that. DD
