What to do.

I have a Duplicate Nevada Certificate of title i need to Notarize. At the Bottom it says. "Subscribed and Sworn to me on this_____"

There is a California all-purpose Acknowledgment attatched. The "Subscribed and Sworn to me on this_____" leads me to believe that i need to do a Jurat. Should i cross out the "Subscribed and Sworn to me on this_____" and just do an acknowledgement???

Are you saying there is a certificate titled "California all-purpose Acknowledgment" with jurat wording on it? Call the person who hired you and tell them there is a contradiction on the certificate and it is not compliant. Ask them which notarial act they would like....Ack or Jurat. Explain the difference if necessary. If they choose Ack, add a compliant one. Same with Jurat.

Always refer back to the person who hired you as to which notarial act they'd like.
