Archer Land Title

I am just wanting to warn the notary community of Archer Land Title. I did a signing back in August for them and they still owe me money. I have called and refaxed invoices to different ones that have told me and emailed also. I was told my check would be in the mail on October 23rd and still havent received it. I spoke with them yesterday to find out they are closing their offices supposedly and filing bankruptcy. So beware if they call, I dont want others getting used like I did. I am actually going to file a small claims on them and if anyone else has been taken let me know maybe we can file togeter if in Florida.

Hi Sarah:
I completed a signing (RESPA) on 10/1/08 and I have not received payment yet. I would suggest you file a complaint with the Atty General of you State. I have had good results from my atty gen here in Mi. I have called and left messages (7) with Archer but no one has returned my calls. Good luck! Keep me posted.

I did two RESPA sign-up for them on 9/22/08 and still have not gotten paid. Talk to the loan officer, and yes they indeed are closed. Will be filing a complaint in my state against them.
