MVP Signing, Altoona, PA

I'm looking for any input on this company, good or bad. I accepted a closing and I can't find anything on them. Thanks in advance.

Unless they changed in the last couple years, run as fast as you can! After 3 bounced checks I learned my lesson.

the only company I have ever had to sue ... and naturally I won. They paid several hundred of dollars in interest and costs because Terry was too pig headed to do his job. His son was the owner of the company. When I sued them, the son contacted me and said they'd defend, they had cancelled checks, they hadn't been given notice, etc. Well Terry had it all but failed to let his son know. Anyway, he kept saying he paid me. I asked for proof - he'd send me his stupid little quick book reports. I wanted, which of course they didn't have, cancelled checks. When it was time for court, I told Mike if he could provide me proof of the 'missing' check that they supposedly stopped payment on I'd forego the interest - they paid interest because the check naturally didn't exist.

When I'd call about payment, Terry would say ... your fees are killing me.... Well then why are you hiring me? Hire someone cheaper but pay me what you agreed to.

I worked for them in 2002 & 2003. I finished up with them and 'their ways' in February of 2003 when borrowers were late and I left - Bernie came to my house and picked up the docs and closed the loan later that night.

Including Bernie and myself, I personally know of two other notaries who won't give them the time of day.

They have ZERO qualms about asking you to backdate. If you don't want to, it's no problem -well I won't get into that right now but I do have 'proof' of what I know about that.

E-mail me - I'll give you contact info for their bread and butter company right now - this company likes to hire direct when possible so you can circumvent MVP.

Hi Terry - miss me ????

could you give me some info on how you had to sue these clowns. I've been dealing withthem for 3 years or better now. Initially they paid, I had to fight them of course, but now it's gone way too far. They owe & I'm going after them. who is their bread & butter company by the way?

Thank you,
Brian

Type up a small claims complaint and fax it to them with a very small window of opportunity to pay you ... maybe 3 to 5 days. Fax it to the attention of the LEGAL department of the title company. Since you are in PA, file it if you don't have a check in hand in a few days.

In my case, I felt like suing them just because I did so I didn't give them notice (not required in PA) although my invoices were VERY old. Since your intent is to be paid, let their client know they will be a part of a law suit to be filed within days.

Please list them in Signing Central

This company is not listed in Signing Central - I did a Google search to see if I could find their contact info, but nothing came up.

Thanks!
