Miracles DO happen... once in a while!
I almost fainted when I opened my mail today. I found a nice check for a signing I did on November 28, 2006! Yes, you read that right -- nearly two years ago!! If the good people at the title co who kept track of this one (and you know who you are...) happen to read this, THANK YOU!!! 
This was one of those where I wasn't paid because the transaction never funded. And the circumstances of the signing were awful, to say the least. (I'll spare you the details, but I'll never forget them.) I'm guessing that the house in question finally sold and my invoice was still in the file. Will wonders never cease!! Made my day!
