Mystery Shop Opportunity - Tax Preparation
I'm sharing this one with the group since most of us will need to file taxes in a few months. I do not know the shop fee or any details. If you scroll down you'll see one requirement - that you expect to get a refund of $1,000 or more.
I don't get a referral fee or points for passing on this information. I have done a ton of shops for this company in the past and I can vouch for their timely and accurate payments.

Dear Michelle: Here is an exciting new opportunity that we are happy to be presenting to our Shoppers! Get your taxes prepared by a professional with all costs reimbursed, plus be paid a shop fee for completing the assignment! On top of that, your refund will be immediate – no waiting! Don’t miss this opportunity to get your taxes prepared by a professional, receive an immediate tax refund, and be paid for the shop. We’ll be looking for Shoppers who are expecting federal tax refunds of $1,000 or more to do these great shops. The shops will be posted on our Shopper Website starting the first week in December, for assignments to be completed in mid-January and February. Circle the first week in December on your calendar to remind yourself to visit our website for more information and reserve one of these very popular shops! If you are unsure what amount of tax refund you will be receiving, we suggest you go ahead and reserve this shop in December because we will post a tax refund estimator that you can use to be sure that your refund does meet the shop criteria. As always, we appreciate referrals of your friends and/or family members anywhere in the United States! Our online application address is http://www.applymarketforce.com.

Please do research on whatever company this is referring to. Since I've been in the tax prep industry for several years (think big box), I've seen firsthand the exorbitant fees that individuals were charged for "professional" tax preparation services. If you prefer to pay less for tax preparation without preparing your own return, pm me and I can give you a link that may assist you.

I also worked for one of the tax prep stores for a couple of years. I had to walk away when a single mom who earned under $9,000 that year was charged $250 for her return (and she wasn't getting the big refund from EIC, either).
