Notarial certificate wording question
I am helping a friend find out how to fill in the blank in the following notarial certificate:
I hereby certify that on this___________________before me, the subscriber, did personally appear ______________________,by____??????________________,known to me or satisfactorily proven to be the persons whose names are set forth in the attached document and............
Where the question marks are is where she does not know what to fill in, after the word by. I have not come across this wording and do not find examples anywhere I have checked. I even went on the Maryland Sec'y of State website for examples and did not find this wording. The form is from a Maryland title company and we are in Florida. Please help if you can. Thank you.
