Just reading some posts on the IRS and taxes started me thinking…… I’m a small business (very small) but still a Corp. (calendar year) so I’m getting my tax stuff in order. As I suspected I will make less than I did last year….but I still will make a small profit, and pay some tax to the good ol’ US of A. Guess what? I did BETTER than General Motors!!? WOW! What would my Mother have said if she were alive? She’d be either very proud of me… or disgusted with the management of GM? I guess I don’t qualify for any of that $700 billion? Any tax experts out there have any suggestions?

That's a great perspective. Yes, we little one-man show businesses can manage to make a profit & pay taxes. That is, of course, how it's always been for the "working class".
