Timing is Everything!

I got a call to notarize a POA the end of September, the gentleman mentioned that he saw my magnet on my husband's car. He also told me that he would be calling me again as his mother would need something else notarized, they just didn't have the paperwork finished yet.
So last Thursday nite I got a second call from him. He said that he had misplaced the business card I had given him but just a few minutes before was behind that same car with my magnet on it! Between those two calls, the 3 magnets I've bought paid for themselves a couple of times over! I just wish I had a couple more cars to place them on!

Rengel, if you're talking about those signs that PAW

sells, I know what you mean. I've been giving serious thought to purchasing about ten of them and asking my friends to put them on their cars for me. The good thing is that those signs are small enough to not get in the way of anything else, yet distinct enough to catch someone's eye.

I live in a University town and I bet I can convince a few students to put a magnet on their car for $20. Might be worth the investment.

I like the way you think Michelle!

Yep, they are the signs that PAW sells. I lost the first one I put on my car - ran the car through a carwash and the sign was never seen again.... sigh

There are several community colleges and a couple universities in the area....... hmmmmmm

Name Recognition is what I'm aiming for.

A large part of my business is non-loan work. At every other non-loan appointment I hear the same words, "I didn't know mobile notaries existed before today". In addition to Paw's sign on the rear of my car, I have regular signs on my driver and passenger doors. I don't expect anyone to flag me down to notarize a form (although that has happened). But I do want people to know that this service exists. So when they do need a notary they will think of me or better yet - my company - and will have a clue of how to find me.

Re: I like the way you think Michelle!

I've washed my car at least once a week for the last couple years since I got mine from PAW. Never had a problem. I was nervous the first couple times, but has made it through blizzards and severe thunderstorms and many country roads. No problems.

I have received so many comments. I like the idea of buying more and paying college kids for the advertising. Great idea!!

Great Idea..... thanks. People normally do not like sharing trade secrets. God bless you.
