Why?
Nobody wants to pay a good price for a e~signing ? it takes just as long you need a air card plus paper notary part plus they charge 250 if they don't do a e~sign.

250.00 is a charge if the broker does not do a e-sign its like a penalty.

"Nobody" wants to pay a good price for e-signing" is too general a statement. I did one last week at a fee equivalent to my regular fee. Once you get the hang of it, it is fairly easy. I agree that the volume doesn't warrant the requirement for us to have a laptop/aircard. You know you can see if the borrower has computer/high speed internet & do it that way (really better because they can then store a copy of the e-sign docs). Amtrust does charge the broker/tc a $250 "penalty" for not doing e-sign, but that has no real bearing on our fee. Remember, we set our fee & either do it or not.
