An extremely rude Loan Officer.

Had a few problems at a closing last night. Borrower called LO. This LO would NOT let the borrower speak. He interrupted every time she tried to talk. He interrupted her constantly. It was absolutley horrible. At one point she even SCREAMED into the phone and told him to shut up and let her talk. This conversation was on speaker phone and I heard the entire thing. There were several problems, but the one I tried to explain to him, he just would not listen or shut up long enough for me to explain. I asked him if he would please listen long enough for me to explain and he just wouldn't. I never did get to finish and either did the borrower. If I had been the borrower, I would have told him in not so nice words to get lost. It was unbelievable. He also told HER to call HIM tomorrow and she had to interrupt him 10 times to tell him that she worked a 12 hr shift tomorrow and he needed to talk to her husband. I kept my cool, didn't say anything to the borrowers, but boy was it hard not to. This LO needs to chill, shut up and listen. What a jerk.

Unbelievable! I've run into a few LOs/Brokers who blew their own loans (but wanted to "blame the notary" of course).

They're not blaming the notary - we ARE at fault! Not to mention ... bad weather, famine, high taxes, etc!

No, she didn't sign, but probably would have had the terms

been what she had been told. She has more patience than I would have had with this guy. She did say the only way he would listen is to tell him to shut up and let me talk. I wouldn't have put up with him. GFE was also way way off from the final HUD.

I've had this type of thing happen a number of times over the years. My opinion is that these
types of LOs get pi$$ed off when their assumed "stupid" borrowers are smart enough to see through the smoke and mirrors, and the LO realizes he isn't going to make his anticipated commission.
I find it quite humerous, to be honest. I enjoy sitting there watching the borrower become more and more angry and finally give the creep what he deserves!
