Do they have your commission, bond, W-9 etc? This happened to me and when I sent over they cut a check the same day. Hope this helps.

Re: DocPros, Inc. Murrieta, CA-Update 11-24-09

I pass by their new location M-F in Murrieta (why someone in this business would undertake a new office location in this economy) is beyond me. I just sent an email regarding payment owed to me. I send first email requesting 24 hour payment status, then a 2nd notice if they do not respond, then I notify escrow and lender, I'm fed up with slow payers, it's pretty easy to verify they have been paid and they have paid themselves but the notary is last on the list. The people they work for need to know how they are not paying the notary in a timely manner. If they still do not pay after my emails, it's straight to the lender, escrow, attorney general and BBB. Trust me you'll get paid. And then do not accept work from them in the future. The businesses out there that can't manage their funds is overwhelming.

Re: DocPros, Inc. Murrieta, CA-Update 11-24-09

Let me also add, it's very sad when the ss can't perform their job duties as they demand we do. I really dislike having to even chase my dollars, follow up with emails, keep checking back, it's a total waste of my time and energy. There are many companies I work for, payment is never an issue, you just know you will be paid timely and without fail. Then there are those that require a stern email if not more just to get the money owed to you, they get testie when you are asking about the dollars that they wouldn't even have in their hot little hands, had you not accepted the signing. More so in my area, where we get snow and roads can be difficult to travel. It gets very old. Beginning 2010, I have revised my invoice, payment needs to be received by this notary in 30-35 days, or I tack on an additional fee. I'm weeding out, slow pay, find another notary. It's about so much more when they slow pay, it's a lack of respect for the work I do for them, it's a blatant disregard for my business meanwhile their business reaps the rewards. Keep in mind escrow has no idea they are not paying the notary in a timely manner, why on earth do you think you get the "don't include the invoice in the packet going back" many of these so called ss are nothing more then a notary who thinks he or she can start up a business of their own with zero experience. The notary doing the work is at the bottom of the food chain. If more notaries would take aggressive action to be paid, this would be less of an issue. The loser ss out there would be far and few between however if you allow yourself to be a doormat, a doormat is how you will be treated. Ask yourself this question, do you really want to maintain a business relationship with a company that pays you, when they feel like it?
