For Gmail Users - Question

I like Gmail, but the "Conversation" view is driving me to Yahoo and I just don't want to change over. Has anyone found a way to get rid of related messages tagging on to the last message? If I can make it work more like Yahoo mail, I would stay with Gmail.

Good question, and one that I have wondered about myself as I hate the conversation view as well. Although I have learned to live with it.

It CANNOT be turne off

Unfortunately, Google has determined that "one size fits all".

However, if you use POP3/SMTP services with a PC based mail reader (e.g. Outlook, Outlook Express and other client email readers), you can send/retrieve your Gmail emails in single message (or 'standard') format.

If you don't like the 'feature', complain. A lot of folks have and maybe someday, Google developers will listen and make it an option.
