It is for the background check. You can click on it in the profile to confirm the background check.
I have it and like it because I can use that icon in my website so people can click on it there and see that I am background checked.

I love it too. Makes checking our credentials easier for everyone. I now have credentials that people can actual see instead of just stating and listing that I have been been certified and background screened. I have it on my website too!
