I did agree with the terms. The signing was cancelled because of the borrowers name being spelled in three different ways which I caught before going out there. At first Linda wanted me to just have the borrower cross through, correct, and initial the errors. She had me reprint the escrow docs (39 pgs.) two addt'l times as she made errors, then the lender decided they wanted to re-draw. The next day, I was called by the scheduler to assign me for the re-draw, he told me I would get the $50. for the night before as I had printed 350 pgs and was tied up over two hours. Within 2 minutes he called and told me Linda wanted him to use another notary but I would get my $50. Within one minute of that call, Linda called and asked if I was available for the signing and I was stunned to say the least. I told her about the scheduler and she started snapping at me. I told her of course I want the assignment, but there seemed to be a lot of confusion. Then she said, oh he just e mailed me and he got another notary. We'll send you $25. for yesterday. I told her it would be $50. to which she replied "no, $25." I read the confirmation to her and she said, "I'll have to get him to change that but you are only getting $25." That is what I meant to address in my posting yesterday. I have worked for LSI out of PA and never had any experiences like this. She is out of CA. The scheduler told me he deals with this every day and "welcome to his world". He told me he would make sure I get the $50. We will see.
