NRCI Frustration

I seldom post, but log in almost daily and often more than once. I keep my profile updated (last done on September 24th) but I have lost 2 points! Anyone else having this problem?

I rarely post also and never link to my profile when I do. Still, I have a 780 index. Not sure why and am not quite sure how they accumulate the score. I know I have a premier listing and purchase supplies & insurance from NR. I also update my profile regularly. Maybe all three have something to do with it. I just don't think posting/logging in carries as much weight as it says it does - since I don't.

Find your listing by doing a zip code search on yourself. You will see a bar next to your name indicating your rating. Put your curser over it and it will give you a numerical value also. Not sure why, but I could not do this with Mozilla Firefox, which I normally use. Had to switch to Internet Explorer and it showed then. Hope this helps.

Simply because Firefox does not support the mouse-over "img alt=" tag the same way IE does. Actually, Firefox supports the attribute correctly. According to the HTML standards, the "alt" attribute is "for user agents that cannot display images, forms, or applets, this attribute specifies alternate text." It was not meant to be used for mouse-over displaying of text. Firefox does support the "title" attribute in HTML to display information on mouse-over.

Wow! Paul, you are absolutely a wealth of information! Is there anything you don't know? And no, I did not understand everything you said, but it sure sounded good (grin).

There are lots of things I don't know. Smile (Didn't go to medical school, but did EKG analysis while working through law school. Long story.)
