NREIS
Has anyone had trouble being paid by NREIS? I have contacted them by fax and phone and have not had any luck whatsoever. I was requested by Freedom Financial to do this signing so thought that everything was ok. The signing was done in August. It is such a shame to see how low these signing companies have fallen.

I wonder if the SS has fallen or if they are just not paying. I've discovered a few companies out there that are scamming the loan signing agents. Personally, I will stick with the SS I know will pay and are more reputable.

I am always confused how people don't understand the 'players' - how can you grasp the basics of this business when you don't know who is who?
NREIS is not a signing service. They are one of the original and one of the largest vendor management companies around. They are also cheap as can be but that has nothing to do with this.
As for the first poster, who hired you? Freedom Financial? NREIS?
I haven't worked for NREIS for years but to the best of my knowledge, when a loan goes through you are paid like clockwork. When the loan doesn't go through, it's like pulling teeth to get someone to have your fee approved.

Dount count NREIS out.
I've done several for them...all recent and all have paid like clockwork.
I did have a problem with them a couple of years ago.
As I recall, I went to their website....and poked around.
Found a customer service link ..if I remember right...and pleaded my case there.
The e-mail was answered the next day.
The unpaid invoices got solved to my satisfaction within a couple of days.
NREIS may not be all things to everyone...but for me they always have paid promptly with that one exception.

Tell them you are going to report them to the IRS See how fast you will get paid. How Do You Report Suspected Tax Fraud Activity?
If you suspect or know of an individual or company that is not complying with the tax laws, you may report this activity by completing Form 3949-A. You may fill out Form 3949-A online, print it and mail it to:
Internal Revenue Service Fresno, CA 93888
If you do not wish to use Form 3949-A, you may send a letter to the address above. Please include the following information, if available:
Name and address of the person you are reporting The taxpayer identification number (social security number for an individual or employer identification number for a business) A brief description of the alleged violation, including how you became aware of or obtained the information The years involved The estimated dollar amount of any unreported income Your name, address and daytime telephone number Although you are not required to identify yourself, it is helpful to do so. I'm confused....
You said you were requested 'by Freedom Financial'. So why then would NREIS pay you? Or did FF request that NREIS work with you? Tho' NREIS is a low payer (unless they need you), they always pays like clockwork.

NREIS pays like clockwork--they cut checks 15th & end of mo. Again, you were not clear about who you contracted with--Freedom Financial or NREIS. Did you get your confirmation, etc. from NREIS? If you didn't, you won't be in the "system" to be paid.

I have done many closings for NREIS and always have to haggle with them for a reasonable fee, but they always pay timely...usually less than 30 day turn around. Sounds like you need to contact Freedom Financial since they contacted you regarding the assigment.
