Ugly Documents

I have a signing this morning. I printed the docs and they have vertical lines through most of the pages...some pages have 2. Will this create any problems as long as I don't stamp over the lines? I think it's too late to ask for cleaner looking docs.

Thanks. Barbara

I would sure try to check with someone if you can.

See if bwr can meet later in day.
Sounds like someone's scanner need cleaning.
If you re-print, ask for another print fee
Look at dox on screen it see if problem is in your printer

I know it's on the docs. It's a PDF file and I can see them on there. I'll call the TC. Thanks.

Followed up with Title who said they know their scanner is bad, but never had a problem with using docs like that. Only ones that ever questioned them were notaries.

Thanks, Bob.

Yes, run into this from time to time--docs that are scanned from faxed copies, etc.
As long as I'm printing them directly from the file, and the problem isn't at my end, I don't make an issue of it.

Sure doesn't make us look very professional at the table

when we have to present docs like that.

I have had this problem in the past. Most of the time they are aware, but a few times they were not and had to rescan the doc's on another scanner. Alway better to check with title first.

Better ugly docs than ugly notary...

especially if you're gonna "Do a notary"

By the way, in case it happens to you...

Vertical lines on scanned or faxed docs means only one thing. There's a spot on the scanning glass. Find it, clean it, no problem

99 44/100% of the time that spot will be from some idiot that stuck something in the fax immediately after painting it with half a bottle of white out.

Me, too--it's the "Ivory soap" approach.

Tip- If you need to copy something after applying white out.

cover the spot with transparent scotch tape.
Sorry about your Dodgers. Did a bit better than my
White Sox, but will get same size World Series rings.

You was robbed

Okay, now that it's over I'll fess up... I never expected my Dodgers to get past the Cubs. I sure didn't hope for a sweep.

But after such an impressive showing I was kinda countin' on em to beat the Phillies, at least at home.

The Cubs did what they shoulda done all season long. The Dodgers somehow managed to kick it up a notch in the last month...at the same time Arizona was inexplicably falling apart.

At this point I'll cheer for the AL, whoever takes it...

TV networks would have been much happier with...

an LA/CHI Series.
Good chance it will be Philly/TB , which ain't gonna draw flies.
