I got the same e-mail and even though mine to them spelled out that I was owed $110.00, she wrote me "confirming" that I was owed $70.00.

I believe it all

I believe Rikki is gone (I'll be she got tired of dealing with unpaid angry vendors)
And I believe she is going to be sending out Invoices? or payments? real soon.
Real soon is when, exactly? I guess that depends on who is telling and who is asking.
I'd ask for specifics.

I had received an email from Addison last week in reply to my reminder that they still owe me. At that point she has said that Rikki was no longer there and that she was not sure at that point the state they were in. I think we should at least give her the benefit of the doubt until she gets settled in to her position. It can't hurt...

Based on her telling you she "doesn't know the state they're in", I'd give no benefit of the doubt at this point. Some people have been waiting over 6 months to be paid (thankfully they don't owe me any money), so IMO giving them the benefit of the doubt at this point CAN hurt you....like falling between the cracks and never seeing your money. Yes, but taking it out on someone who didn't create the predicament is not the answer. Maybe she will try to get us paid. At this point I haven't received the payment, I'm not out anything more by being nice.

"she is going to be sending out the invoices real soon"

And as soon as you pay those invoices she sends, the others will be paid. Good robbing Peter to pay Paul. My guess: Addison is another Rikki, ie, accts. payable. Only pays what she is told to pay...no more, certainly less if they (Todd, et al) can....JMHO

I had Rikki to email confirmation before I accepted the assignment stating when I would be paid (my policy is within 30 days). When the check did not arrive as stated, I called DAILY for one week, faxed a demand letter telling them the exact day and time I would involve the lender. Then, I did what I said I was going to do. I called the LENDER who apparently took action and surprisingly I got a check within a week of that phone call after I received a hysterical call from Rikki who couldn't BELIEVE what I had done. Total time to get paid? 41 days.
