It is being touted as a safety measure for those who find themselves in risky situations dealing with unknown people...you take a pic with your mobile and send it to a secure site that keeps it there in case it is needed by law enforcement..anyone have any experience with this?

I say use common sense and only meet people you don't know in public places, like restaurants or Starbucks. If you feel the hairs on the back of your neck start to stand up, get the h*ll out of there, don't stay and take pictures. Always let someone know where you're going.

With loan signings, I print an extra copy of the confirmation (borrowers name and address and hiring entity info) and paste it to my monitor before I leave. General notary work is usually done at Starbucks on the corner. Starbucks happens to be inside a Vons.

No one should ever fear packing up their stuff and just leaving if they feel uncomfortable. Who cares how it "looks".....just take your stuff and go.
