Be Warned - Titlestream is using signing companies
I got a call from a signing company (she sounded like a new company - kids in the background) for a last minute closing (email me and I will share the company's name). I said sure. She forwarded a confirmation and closing instructions. The closing instructions were from TITLESTREAM!!!!! I immediately let her know that I could not accept the closing as I have a suit against them for non-payment and she might want to check out their reputation on this forum. She was totally unaware of the situation. She said she had received numerous Texas closings from Titlestream for today. I'm not sure how it would work out if a signing company didn't get paid from Titlestream - a good one would go ahead and pay the notary, others would not. Just wanted to give you guys a head up!

any reason you're not 'warning' everyone here? Doesn't seem to be anything controversial by naming names.

I had this exact issue last month I did a Respa for Ultimate Signings out of NC. signing completed 7/1/08. started to call at 30 days Ultimate stated TS had not paid them I explained not my problem after a few more calls, a final demand letter and 30 more days TS still had not paid Ultimate. Patricia called me apologized for the delay said they would send my check as they did not want to get a bad reputation and I rec check 2 days later.
