EOM
I received a call at 7:15 pm on 8/31 asking me to do a non-recission closing that night. I had just finished dinner and didn't have a reason to refuse, so I went. I pulled back in my driveway at 11:45. How's that for end of month. (I was surprised anyone would be working on Sunday night, let alone on a holiday weekend.)

I don't need a reason to refuse. If it's a company I don't know, or if they call at night for a same-night signing, I just say no. I'm not a puppet and if the job is important, they'll get their ducks in a row ahead of time.

Dear Julie
Some of us are willing to swim the extra mile to keep from drowning.

Re: Dear Julie
Yes, and to those who are willing to take last minute night time signings, I gladly defer. I am not comfortable taking jobs like that.
But, because I am diversified, I don't have to depend on last-minute loan signings to stay afloat. I like it like that because I can take the jobs I want and turn down the ones I don't.

So Julie, how's your business going? I'm guessing no one is fond of last minute orders but that's the nature of our business.

I had a closing at 9:30 PM on Saturday night and at 4:00 PM on Sunday for a company that I work regularly for. They called me Saturday afternoon for both and, for those of you that might wondr, I did not charge extra.

Had calls for Fri and Sat
But Thursday I had to go to the ER, I have 2 kidney stones and the shop has been closed since. I think I'll re-open either Thursday or Friday of this week.
Today is the first day I can eat and feel half normal. dont wish kidney stones on anyone. 2 less then 4mm docs say take drugs and call me in 7 days if pain is still there.. great.
Lets hope for a good Sept, we are in the money months now.

I got a call on Thursday for Friday p.m refi and a call on Friday for Saturday afternoon. Both payed very well. And in my area. I was glad to do it. Pulled my end of month out nicely. By the way, a while back I cannot remember who it was but she was talking about getting yelled at by the TC for not having the borrowers sign a page on the instructions. I thought I had the same CW but it was not it was an Americap. Borrowers have a signature line on page 2 of the closing instructions. Glad I had my glasses on! But as a whole, end of month was not that good out here.
