E-signing w/ 150 pages?!?!?
E-signings were supposed to be (I thought), while not completely paperless, btwn 40 - 80 % LESS paper. I did one that had 150 pages and only 5-6 electronic docs. Isn't that bass -ackwards? The only complaint (price was ok): seems like a lot of trouble to set up & log on, etc for 5 or 6 e-signatures. My reg signings are usually btwn 80 -110 pages? Whats the point?

Holy Cow! That is truly bass-ackwards. Seems no purpose in the e-signing for that at all. The ones I've had I only had to print MTG, LPOA's, Name Affs, and Title Affs. Which company did you do it for? Mine have been thru DocPro (accessed thru Gemstone).

yes, it is. I was contacted by both Atlantic Signing & DocPros to perform the esignings I've been doing. Sorry for the confusion.

Was it an FHA closing, they are usually larger the conventional refi's. I did a conventional refi it took longer then the regular signing cause bo felt he needed to read the stuff on the computer. Doesn't work for me.

E-signing is Amtrust/Gemstone. It is for the lender to move loans quickly, apparently. One needs to decide if there is enough volume for the laptop/aircard. I've suited up, but haven't seen a lot of action. It is definitely not "paperless", and there has to be the ability to print a copy of the docs for the borrower, especially the RTC & TIL.
