Got soaked by Tropical Storm Hanna

Had an afternoon signing, as I left the sky opened up and I got soaked. Got home, no electricity. Had closed windows on windy side of house but wind shifted and had to mop kitchen floor. Oh well, it probably needed a good moping. Fortunately had all docs in a waterproof tote. Bo was upset over appraisal, says due to the impending BRAC (Base Realignment) coming to area his house is "going to be worth much more" and he wants the appraisal to reflect the change now. Took him awhile to decide if he was going to sign or not.
Sat at his little TV tray where we would eventually do signing and watched the rain.

Have a dry evening, I'm going to have a glass of wine.

I'm joining you so you won't be drinking alone. Nice way to end the day - all the stress is melting...

Know how you feel. We got soaked here in the St. Louis area by Hurricane Gustav. It poured all day on Thursday. Just so weird how something that starts so small way way out in the Atlantic can eventually make its way to St. Louis is the middle of the country. Mother Nature sure is mighty. Glad your safe.
