Magic Jack Users...
I've just purchased a Brother MFC240C and it works wonderful with magicjack. I can fax 10 pages with no problem. And right now it is on sale on Staples.com, ACTUALLY I purchased 2 in order to have free shipping.

Or you could use it as a scanner. It scans to your pc as a PDF

VOIP type phone, better tho. Much discussion here over the months - search for either method. Easier to explain, absorb. Too late for me to explain...

I just turn off my regular phone service because I can't afford the cost and they were the cheapest around.
One of my friends turned me onto the Magicjack which gets you free phone services for a years at $19.95 and for 5 years at $59.95. I thought it was a joke but I ordered the free 30 day trial, since the market is slow I try anything at this point. So I got the magicjack and it really works. After I finish with this 30 day free service I am siging up for the 5 year of free phone service. If you are interested in saving money I would suggest you go to their web site: htt://www.magicjack.com. It would hurt to try.

I only use MJ for outgoing faxes. I was using an old Panasonic fax machine, that works pretty good, I recently purchased a new cheap fax from brother for 29.99 and it works wonderful. For Incoming faxes I use k7.net and maxemail.
