National Signatures Closers
I was just contacted by them to sign up with them. No charge, but you have to sign that you will accept $50 signings. They said Freedom Financial recommended me. I know FF has used various signing companies. Are they now using this one? No thanks.

Is this Nations Signature Closers (NSC) out of KS or
a different company?

Thats actually what I wanted to know. $50 for any closing is crazy, but I know NSC pays more than that.

Well..they did....at least for the one I did for them
then called me on the phone to "update my info their database" and told me they pay $65 + $20l e-doc fee - I told them I don't do any signings for $85 and if that was the case, please remove me from their database - we talked it over and struck a mutually agreeable fee ... most of the time they O/N the docs.
I find them nice to work with - very pleasant, no handholding, and I personally have had no faxbacks, but I do find their assignments are usually either scheduled at the last minute or, in the case of e-docs, the docs are late...IME

Don't forget this part...
Unless otherwise agreed upon, Piggybacks: $20
BTW - they issue a disclaimer that at the time of the scheduling they are not always aware of the docs involved or if it is or is not a piggyback - if you get docs and don't call them, it's $20.

I was doing quite a bit for them until recently. I got
tired of "something" wrong with every closing. Not the docs or the closing but their lack of organization. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. One person calls and then another and asks the same question. If you call in to report the status or for any other matter, the message does not get communicated to anyone else. Then another phone call, sometimes 2. I also had a very hard time getting them to answer phones. They are nice enough people to speak with, but it is hard to reach anyone. It is also pretty useless to call in from the table. They can't answer any questions. Some companies can actually tell you what the lender wants, but NSC can't (in my experience). They also have no idea when title cancels the loan then they call and asked if it closed (which I understand that they might not know) Every closing I did, it was something. Each time I would say to myself, I'll give it one more try, then one more till I finally had enough of their lack of organizational skills as a company. They pay ontime is the only good thing. Never a problem with that. In these lean times it surprises me that a company can't come up with a system that eliminates the "double" work these people are doing. Of course, this is my experience only and sorry so long.
