I didn't know that Notary Bay is part of Land America.

As far as I know it isn't. NotaryBay is operated by Scott.

Well, 1st I got a text from Notary Bay for a closing, did not respond. Then I got a call from Land America to do the closing and an e-mail from notary bay , same phone number. It definately appears that they are the same. Confusing.

GASP!!!!!
That means (insert whimper here) that Scott really didn't have the notary's best interest at heart after all! That means he was (sob) LYING to us way back when, about the structure and function of Notary Bay. Didn't he say this was how to get around SS? To get direct work? It seems that didn't happen, only the opposite. Notary Bay's a signing agency. I wouldn't trust that rat-bastid any farther than I could throw hi,
I think alot of you owe Becca an apology. Especially Grandpa Jlissem.

Every page I have recieved from
notary bay was from a signing agency. The last one was from CTC (Golden Bear) and I never was paid. Some of the pages were just agencies trying to harvest info for their database.

Re: GASP!!!!!
Hold on a minute. The way that system works is that they click to call you directly. As far as I know, NotaryBay is only the site for the direct-call concept. I'm not saying it's good or bad--I haven't had much experience here on the East Coast.

They click to call, but the page you recieve
will include the number for the SS so you can return the call.

Re: GASP!!!!!
Thanks, Misty. The outing of Scott was a team effort, I was just the mouthpiece. We have Nd/WA to thank for alerting us to what he suspected Scott was up to. We have the well respected board member that found the smoking gun and passed it along to me. That board member wanted to stay out of the mud slinging and remain anonymous. We have LauraV to thank for reiterating what Nd/WA told us and we have Beverly/FL to thank for not allowing the board to forget LauraVs post.

Last time they were discussed on this board
I just shrugged my shoulders.
Scott is out to make money for Scott (normal thing to do) and if a notary doesn't get it after time and time again of seeing it explained that he's not their best bud then I say "Go get 'em, Scooter."
Sometimes after a person invests in a decision and stakes a claim in "I'm right about this." it is awfully hard for them to see the problem with their logic. When people cozied up with Scott and believed him it was hard for them to realize that he did nothing out of the good of his heart and everything to benefit himself. I get it.
He had people build content for him (like LauraV said he would). He had notaries (a database of notaries) become "real estate" for him. He had notaries build his SEO.
What's so hard to see about that? When I was trying to discuss it, people seemed to want to cut my head off...Becca's also. Oh well. It is what it is and what anyone believes is irrelevant.
