Notary Direct

Did not pay for deed signing because I was early for the signing and the borrower had issues with Wyndham VO. and was not going to sign anyway. They cancelled the signing and said they would not pay trip fee... Requests should be made that companies like Notary Direct be on your Secretarys of State list of companies that may not do business in your state.. With notaries not being paid there is also the FBI internet fraud site to file a complaint.

In my opinion and experience they are the worst in this industry. Few years ago, I went to a signing that the borrower did not signed, I spent almost an hour with the borrower and LO on the phone and they just paid me 25.00 trip fee. I went back with this borrower with the same docs, I told ND that I needed my full fee just in case that they did not sign, since it was just the same loan docs and no changes were made, well you guessed it! They just paid me another 25.00 dollar. No more Notary Direct. A few months later after that incident I received a call from them asking for a tracking number for a signing I never performed for them, they had it in their system that I did that signing. Go figure that out!

IMO, No one beats out SOX, ND may come in second, but SOX is by far the worst.

I haven't worked with them since February, but the docs were wrong and they sent me a check for someone else!!!! They were very disorganized and definately beat me up on the fee.
They did pay on time though, at 30 days or sooner, but a hassle to work with. It has been more than 6 months since I worked for them so it has probably gotten worse....=-(
