I just signed up, not ready yet to do signings, haven't even finished my profile. I have browsed the comments posted and found most informative, some pretty funny. Just wanted you all to know you are helpful to some newbies, even if you don't mean to be. I will be certain to read msg 33325 very closely, looks like it is worth the time. Being in other business for 35 plus years, I understand my endeavor is not a get rich quick scheme. Appreciate all the insights you have given. I'll be reading you.

Welcome Linda, and best wishes for your success. I think you'll sift through the board posts and realize who the bright bulbs are and who are the credible, valuable resources. There are a lot of lenders who can barely lend and those who are going belly up, there is still work out there. Just need to do your homework and discover where the loans are being made. Also, there is a lot of regular old notary work that comes up everywhere. I conducted two loans last night, one was a life insurance loan and the other an esigning. Nice $300 evening. Different work than we were all doing just two years ago. Fewer notaries are renewing their commissions in CA due to heightened penalties and fines, we're under the looking glass because of all the mortgage fraud that went on in the NINJA period (LIAR LOANS). New talent is always welcome...maybe you'll teach us a thing or two. Enjoy your journey.
