The Closing Group - KY

Any current info on this company? I just accepted a job and then looked them up on this forum. Seems that they had some bounced checks in Aug but were trying to make good on them. Also some slow-pay posts, but again there were indications that they were trying to catch up. I'm trying to decide if I should cancel or not. I just received the confirmation and the borrower is a friend of mine.

I did a signing back in July. Still trying to get paid. Given one excuse after another. They have never answered my emails. When I finally get someone the phone, I get the he haw, the check is going out Friday etc. Bad news!

Really nice people, but it took months of calling to get paid and always an excuse.
Obviously not managing their money well. We've been in business for ourselves for yrs. and
we don't take home a paycheck till all the bills are paid.

I worked only once for them in June. Still waiting to get paid. No reply to emails, phone calls or faxes..communication is a good thing. I too would be leary if I were you!
