We used to do alot back in '07 and they paid at about 45 days then. We haven't worked for them since, so I'm not sure where they are at now a days. Good luck!

Did one for them several months back. When 45 days went by, I called and was told that they had not been paid yet by TC. As soon as payment to them would come, they would pay me. Instead, they sent me a check for 1/2 of my fee with a polite letter they hoped to pay the rest within a few weeks. I called again and told them that the partial payment IMO was unacceptable--I did not do a partial closing when asked to work for them and I expected the remainder of my payment immediately. Appx. a week later, I received the balance owed me. I must give credit to them that they attempted to do the right thing but on the other hand, my terms are not half now, half later.

SA payments should have nothing to do with when the signing service gets paid or if they get paid. And 45 days should be unacceptable.

In most instances, 45 days in unacceptable. However,
when you have established a relationship with a company that pays your fees, and they are giving you many appointments, 45 days really isn't that long. Especially when thats not the only check you are waiting for. When you work with many different companies, and checks are coming in daily, your not really "missing" that 1 check from a 45 day pay company. I say run your business the way you want to. If people "accept" it thats great, if not, move on. This is just my own opinion.

Look at how she 'began' her business ...
Also, according to a poster on another board, Direct apparently is not so prompt with their payments any longer ...
The writing has been on the wall since day one with her ...

I would just like to say a few things. Yes, sometimes things are out of my hands and we do have to pay late, but never have we NOT payed someone, even when their job was done incorrectly. We do the best we can in the times that we are going through in this industry we are all a part of. I am a notary myself and have been in the situation where I never received payment and I would not be a part of a company that would ever do that to anyone. It is wrong and unfair. We put our trust in these companies to pay us for the job we did and should be paid accordingly. And I would much rather have a payment that is late than no payment at all. Granted, it would be great to pay every closer within days of the job but it doesn't work out like that with every close. The posts on here are rare cases, we do a good amount of volume and there are only a few minor complaints so please keep that in mind.
