Update on Ultimate Signings
Friday I received a call from Patricia at ultimate she apologized for not responding to my calls or emails. She explained they still had not been paid from Title Stream for the closing done on 7/1/08. However she understood that it was not my problem and payment would be sent out immediatly. I did rec. the check for the full amount today. Although I never want to wait 60+ days for payment I'm glad to know that there are some ss that take responsibilty and pay there debts. Thanks Patricia

I don't know how true this is but it may be
something worth looking into - good thing you got your money because I read elsewhere that Titlestream closed down about a month ago...now like I said - I've not confirmed it - I haven't worked for them so don't need to for myself but anyone else who did work for them or for a company who's waiting for payment from them, maybe you should look into this. The poster elsewhere claims his info comes from a someone at a lender in the know and they claim TS closed down a month ago and they're trying to get everything current.

I just got a report that they closed down, also. I haven't attempted to confirm.

They have not shut down!!! I live here and I drove past their office the other day on my way to the Justice of the Peace to file a small claims suit against them. They are very much still operational and now are just hiding behind signing companies to get their work done. They are now using At Your Convenience Signings. She seems to be a new company working out of her home (I spoke with her a few times the other day and her kids answered the phone and you could hear more kids and the tv in the background) and so if they stiff her for payment, I'm not sure the notary would be paid.
