Update on my Nephew Stephen

I want to thank all of you for your prayers, it is working.

Stephen has been moved to a regular room. He as a room mate that was in a motorcycle accident the same day as Stephen. He gets better everyday and does something each day that he did not do the day before. He is talking now, he says Mom and I love you. My sister was also talking to him yesterday and she told him what day it was "Sunday" and he repeated the word after her. It will be a month tomorrow since the accident but it seems much longer. Keep him in your prayers.

These are baby steps, what a blessing! You'll see more and more progress, some plateauing along the way, it is key to never give up. Soon he'll be getting physical rehabilitation and therapy, if he isn't already. He'll be learning to brush his teeth and his hair all over again. Like watching a newborn calf struggling to stand up. Margaret, I'm so happy to hear of Stephen's progress. It just wasn't his time yet. I share your postings and Stephen's website with Justin, my nephew, all the time. He wants you to know he's praying for Stephen, too. I did a signing for an 83 year old lady yesterday afternoon. Her three children are on the deed, so everyone signed the critical documents. She had a stroke in July and is coming about nicely...takes time to heal, meanwhile God is nudging us to slow down.

Hi Everyone

I just got back from the hospital. They took the stitches out of his head and is said "Ouch". They said he needs to reach a level 4 and then he can be transfered to a rehabilitation facility. He is now a level 3.

Baby Steps, we are taking it day-by-day.

I want to thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers and keep them coming.

Margaret - that is SO wonderful!!!
I saw Brenda's post in leisure over the weekend and I visited the site and signed the guestbook. I've been keeping up with the progress. He still remains on our church's prayer list.
Thanks for the update.
