Web host suggestions?

I'm now a loan officer, specializing in reverse mortgages. I need another web site for that activity, in addition to the signing agent site I currently have. Does anybody have any suggestions for a host that offers a good web site creation program? Cost is a factor, but far from the determining one; I want it to be an attractive site.

I know and have taught desktop publishing. However, the web is a whole 'nother animal, so the program offered has to be moderately simple. (I may not have employed the proper terminology, so if anybody doesn't understand what I need, just PM me and I'll try to make it plain.)

Re: Go Daddy.com - no problems with them

Dawn,

Do not know if you had the same problems as I have with them, but my email goes out from time to time. I am seriously thinking about changing to another host.

I haven't noticed a problem with email - but I still get most of my email through my comcast account. Thanks for sharing that problem Tess.

I'd suggest 1and1.com if cost is an issue. under 7 bucks for a year if this still being offered. You get one email addy and like 5 webpages - sweet deal and very cheap. This is all you get though - or did.

Hope this helps.

Rich

I also host at 1and1, 9 web sites, 9 SMTP "servers", average bill less than $70 / mo.

Problems? For any I have had a simple phone call was instantly answered, problem gone or question answered professionally.

Hugh, I PM'ed you yesterday but not sure if you read it. Sitecube.com is a good one. Looks professional and not too expensive.
