eNotarizations

Question, I received my first request for an electronic notarization and am certified. I do not have the device that the NNA recommends (the enjoa). What about the enjoa is that necessary for eNotarizations?

Absolutely nothing. It's an 'electronic journal'. Sorta useless to begin with and some of the 'first kid on the block' types that bought it have stopped using it because it's a nuisance.

Not to mention incredibly

expensive, AND annual license fees. I'm sure it has uses in some locales. I don't know anyone who uses it, though, especially not for mobile signings.

I'm about as technically savvy as they come, but there's something to be said for a pen, paper and a rubber stamp.

Just an off the cuff remark...

Never ever buy (or rent, borrow) ANY equipment to enable you to do 'this' signing. If you get 3 requests a week for a month...OK, there's a niche market that you can fill. Your stats might vary, but I'm sure you get my drift...
