iS IT SLOW ANYWHERE ELSE OUT THERE?
This is the slowest I have seen in 5 years. I have not had a signing in 2 weeks when once at a minuimum I was getting at least 8-10 per week during slow times.
I fianlly had one tonight but I cant survive this way. Is anyone else feeling this?
I am trying to see where I can get work, at being over 50 it is harder to find new employment, what are others out there doing to compemsate for the slowdown?
Im here in the Charlotte NC area. Let me know how it is where you are.

I took up live scan fingerprinting and passport processing, auctioneering foreclosure sales and more general notary work. I'm off the streets, working a lot harder than I am used to, but hanging in there. 9-5 jobs are hard to get when you're over 50, perhaps a service business could be worth looking into.

It's slower here than it's been in the 5+ years I've been in business but I don't depend solely on loan signings to stay afloat. I have 3 businesses and am in the process of starting 2 more. It's because I'm diversified that I am able to maintain (or increase) my signing fees. I won't lower my fees just because of a saturated market or decreased signings.

slow but other business keep us afloat
I had to get a job. I worked from March to August 29th and they laid me off. I hated it any how. Now I'm doing my call center work more aggressively and my signings are few. I've only done 2 this month (sept) and only did 3 in August. I am also registered to to property inspections but I only work with one company and they seem to only have assignments way way out for only $25.00 bucks. I also help my boyfriend do prepaid legal but that's slow too nobody's buying nothing!

Joe,
It has been slower for me also but I think things are going to pick up again very soon due to the lower rates. LSI also indicated they have recently seen an increase in orders due to the fed take over.
