Just before 9 PM (ET), Bruce was taken to the hospital with an apparent heart attack. No further information available at this time. Please say a special prayer for both Bruce and Sylvia.

Just spoke with Sylvia and they still need your prayers...they're trying to stabilize Bruce and have airlifted him to another hospital for further treatment - they're talking about doing a cardiac cath and she said they've called in a thoracic surgeon - possible open heart??

Spoke with Sylvia this morning. After a very rough night, Bruce is resting comfortably but far from being out of woods. They did an emergency catherization and inserted a stent, but continue to monitor him to determine the best course of action. Bruce is in and will remain in Cardiac ICU for the foreseeable future. Surgery is not out of the question.

Having gone through the this 10 years ago myself, both as a patient and then my father, I can sympathize and empathize with Sylvia and Bruce.
