Anyone using a Dell 1600N Laserprinter?

I'm researching out what to get for a laserprinter and the 1600N receives pretty good editor receives, however some user receives claim it is defective, namely their is a film residue under the scanner glass. Just wanted to see if any other notaries are using it and if it is holding up for you.

It's ok for a backup fax and scanner, however it has shortcomings for a main printer. The film under the glass is not that big of a deal, as you won't scan as much as you think. The fax/scan function using the document feeder doesn't use the main glass area. If you'd like more info on this printer send a p/m and I'd be happy to discuss. BTW: Welcome to the biz.
