BCHH Title

I wanted to vent a bit about a company I took a chance on....There was not feedback on them here, but took it anyway as they said they were new to the industry. I went to the closing, about 40 miles away (my first mistake), and the borrower said that they had cancelled the closing hours ago.

I called BCHH and a Chelley Jones said they forgot to tell me, they had put something in the wrong pile. Then she accused me of being rude, and said "sorry, what else do you want from me, I said I was sorry" I wasn't even really complaining or pressing her, it was so random. They promised they would pay my trip fee, but now its been over a month....I am sure they are not standing by thier word.

Avoid this company, its a reincarnation of the type of companies that have fallen by the wayside lately, ie., fusion, final step....untrustworthy.

See msg 285497. I've worked with them & found them great to deal with.
Do you think it was an EOM stress thing?

I would call them again. I've worked for them in the past and they were VERY easy to work with and paid promptly (within a week). I wouldn't write them off without giving them a chance.

Re: Did you call the borrower to confirm appointment?

I have done several closings for this company, and Chelly is one of the best. Always, always polite. I would take all the closings they could give me. I would reconsider your thoughts. And yes, did you confirm with the appointment?

I just worked with them last week and found them to be completely professional and easy to work with from start to finish.

BCHH Title is the BEST

BCHH is the best company that I've ever worked for. Chelley Jones is one of the sweetest people on earth. Please give them a call. I'm sure it is just a misunderstanding that will be rectified when you make the call.

Re: They're still not found in Signing Central

I would add to signing central, but everytime I try to add anyone to signing central there is an error message and it says they are already added,

I did confirm, but they cancelled after I had called. I have tried calling BCHH back and they do not take my calls.

Re: They're still not found in Signing Central

Here is just one of my letters sent to this gentleman apologizing for what happened. I did find him quick to judge and offensive...but I did not blame him for being that way, it was an error on my part and I inconvenienced him. The blame is mine...not the company. His email degrading my company because of my error explains a bit of his attitude with me. We all make mistakes, this is a very talented man and I stand by my apology to him. We are human folks...but I stake my reputation on my company. It is my name on the line with you all and you are my business. I will never take you for granted and I will never allow you to be mistreated. Thank you Barbara...I know it was you who stood up for me. I adore you my friend. Be gentle on this fellow, he must have had some bad run-ins with bad companies. Everything comes out in the wash. My company and myself will prove itself to be honorable but not infalible. Blessings and well wishes. Regards, Chelley

I removed his name,
I am sorry for not calling you, it was an error on my part. I am also sorry that I misunderstood exactly where you were, I was assuming when you said “you just left”, you meant from your office. I can understand you being angry with me and the situation, however, when I said $25 for the trip…it was when I thought you had just left your office. Had I known you meant the borrower’s home, I would have offered more. I did ask you how much you wanted…instead of answering me with an ounce of respect, you basically said you would invoice me. This is not how you turn a bad situation into a good one. I don’t know the type of people you are used to working with, but we are sincere and honest folks…who try to do right by those we work with. Why don’t you rethink your stand on this and add what you need to the invoice for your closing. I certainly liked your personality before you thought I was trying to get over on you. I have never made a mistake like this…so it did take me by surprise when you called and I can’t be more sorry than I am right now.
Chel

Try and understand…I thought you said you just left your office! Lol I was willing to pay you for just the aggravation of just getting in your car…I certainly did not mean to offend you!

Yet another attempt to apologize...chelley

This loan will be re-scheduled next week and your check will be issued when the file funds. I have explained my error to my boss and she has no problem paying the trip fee…your time is valuable to us. This was all my error…my misunderstanding…and to be honest with you, I feel horrible for making you think your time was not worth the trip fee…I honestly took what you said as though you had just left your office. I do not keep the files in front of me…I had nothing to reference that quickly…most of my files are 1 hour behind…so it was easy for me to assume you had just left your office. I don’t blame you for getting snippy with me…because you didn’t know where my head was on this. I am sorry for saying you were rude, under the circumstances…I would have been the same way. All I can do is ask forgiveness for being so quick to judge you…it was not very kind of me. I couldn’t understand why you wanted more for just leaving your office…I did not connect what you said and I am sorry. It is unfortunate this misunderstanding happened and I am sorry you do not wish to let this pass, we are about as honest and forthright as you will find in this business. I do feel responsible and I do feel horrible that we are losing a good Attorney. Unlike other title companies…we know you are not a dime a dozen! We care about our people.
Thanks,
Chel

In conclusion to this situation: I called the borrower's explained to them the error I had made and told them I upset the notary who showed at the closing the previous night. I explained to them I had to assign another notary for the signing and I apologized. I then hired another notary, explained to her the error I had made with the original agent and the borrower's and that she should be aware of the situation before she accepted the closing in case there was a bit of hostility from the borrower's because of my mistake. I did not want her to go in blind to a bad situation. She accepted the closing, it went beautifully and the loan went off without a hitch.

You judge for yourself if many other people would go through what I have done to rectify this situation.

My only regret is that I lost a notary who would have really been a blessing to our company because of my inability to organize my day better. I have learned from it and every day I try and improve myself for the love of my agents and borrowers. Call me silly but I believe in the Golden Rule...and if I thought for one minute my company had standards or values below what I feel decent folks should have...I would not be here.
I love my job, I love my boss...I love my company and believe it or not...I love my signing agents! Big Hugs to you all!

Chelley
