CJ Signing Services - no pay and no response!

I did a RESPA signing for CJ Signing Services at the beginning of February. When I inquired, I was told I would be paid in 30 days of the appointment. There were no special invoicing instructions other than they needed my W-9. I e-mailed my W-9 and invoice upon job completion and Liz acknowledged receiving it.

Here we are 60 days later and no payment. I've made several inquiries over the last two weeks but Liz has not responded to any of them! I will be contacting L/O and TC on Monday to discuss this situation and seek their assistance.

A while back you had to submit their billing invoice that you needed to submit at the EOM for all closings during that month and they paid from that. Maybe that is the problem???

If they have special invoicing instructions, they need to communicate that up front. Nothing like that was on my confirmation or communicated to me by e-mail. When I sent my W-9 and invoice, Liz acknowledged receipt via e-mail and said nothing about any special invoicing procedure.

There are others owed by CJ Signings as well - I've been corresponding with them via PM. One is owed a SIGNIFICANT amount of money.

I've sent numerous e-mails and faxed my invoice to them with a request for some communication. I've also told them of my plans to contact their clients on the deal on Monday. Lack of response says a lot.

This is odd, they have always responded to me and paid on time. I hope they are not going out of business.

She owes me from 1/27/09 and I've called twice on this as well, she said they sent the check out and oh, you didn't get it? I said No. Not here today either.

I work for them from time to time. They do have an invoicing requirement--fax their invoice at end of month--pay at end of following month. Any payment issues, call Liz Roberts.

I'm not a mind reader - those special invoicing instructions were never communicated to me. The fact remains that many notaries are having collection issues with this company and Liz is ignoring them with no response to repeated contact attempts. In my e-mail to her today I mentioned that I'm aware that other notaries are reporting payment issues with her company, and asked if CJ Signing Services is having financial trouble? She responded with two words: check mailed.

I immediately responded, asking for more specifics, such as date mailed? No response. This is not how a reputable company operates.

I received payment today @ 63 days. It's my opinion that I would still be waiting for the check had I not made several collection attempts last week, in addition to threatening to contact the title company and loan officer. This was my first and last for CJ Signing Services.
