Case of Legal Paper for $29.87 (10 reams)
I just purchased a case of Multipurpose legal paper for less than $30.....at Costco....92 bright rating. This was cheaper than the 8 1/2 x 11! I live in Seattle, but would assume that all the paper is consistently priced across the stores. This is a great chance to stock up!

Which brand did you purchase for $29.87? I'm there online at Costco's now and do not see legal for that price. Thanks!

I think you got a deal!
I just took a quick look through my receipts for last year (which just happen to be on my desk...) I bought a case of legal at Costco in February at $36.99 and found a purchase in November at $40.99. Most of my legal paper purchases last year were from FedEx Kinkos, but with that option no longer available, I think I'm going to check out Costco again soon to seen if there's been a change here, too! (I do usually buy letter size there.) I'm just glad that I managed to stock in a good supply of legal from the discounter that was taking over for FedEx just before they stopped offering the old price. What's left, though, probably won't take me through the end of this month.
Thanks for the heads up!

This was Georgia Pacific....I was at Costsco about 3 weeks ago and their price was over $40. I double checked the price which was rung up at the register just to be sure this was not an error. I say we all deserve a break on expenses whenever we can get it, so I was happy to pass on the good news.

Wow that's a great price! I wonder if they mis-marked it? I just bought letter size at Costco on March 31st - Georgia Pacific paper for $29.32. I bought legal in mid-Feb (also Georgia Pacific) for $40.99.

That's a great deal putting the price of a piece of paper at $0.005 so printing a 125 page set of docs and a copy for the borrowers so 250 pages...total cost for paper is only $1.25!

Didn't see sale for Georgia Pacific, but I found a good deal at Costco just now for $4.87 per ream for legal paper. Although I'm not a Costco member yet I paid $54.17 for a case of Hammermill MP paper with a (hue brightness of 96). Thought I'd share.

Sure thing...
10 reams of paper or 5,000 sheets of paper at $29.87 comes out to $0.005974 per sheet of paper. (29.87/5000)
If there were 250 pages total to print including borrowers copies that's...
250 x $0.005974 = $1.4935
That's a sweet deal but obviously paper isn't always this cheap so buy it while you still can!

Actually, he is pretty close. Works out to 0.6 cents per page or a paper cost of $1.50 for 250 pages. I'm going to hit Costco tomorrow. Hope my store has it.

Nope, not at my Costco. Still $40.99 a box for legal.
Bought a bottle of Kirkland Vodka as long as I was in the store. I understand that it is actually private label Gray Goose, but $20 a 1.75 liter bottle less than the real thing.

Lee...they are only talking paper.
And, my guess is they are about to take on a bunch of signings for which the edocs will be offered at $10-15.

Yeah I'm just talking about the paper and how good a deal this is...but I remember when it used to be $23, those were the days!

Just in case...
For any hiring entities out there who want to slash fees for edoc printing, we also have to factor in toner, machine wear and tear, printing time AND the fact that, with most edoc files coming last minute or late, it can have an influence on how many assignments a person can do in a day. If someone goes to the trouble of maintaining mobile printing capabilities, that still requires time - plus other additional expenses. Lest we forget...

Re: Just in case...Plus
time spent going to get the paper (Costco), parking time, hiking back and forth and then into the office, standing in line (an hour minimum = $45.00) plus gas, wear and tear on car and the body since who is doing all this lugging and standing and wandering through the store?
If online, still shopping time looking for the best deals, but less time and wear and tear for sure. So, add that hour or so, plus those other costs to the actual cost of the paper, then start the math. Even the math here does not compute properly.

Re: Just in case...Plus
LOL!! I knew someone would be adding to what I posted! 'Course, then we have to haul it into our office, stack it somewhere and provide a storage place. And I suppose while we're at it, we should add time to do the bookkeeping for cost allocation, bill payment and other general overhead. And surely we must be forgetting something else...
