Does anyone carry $500K E&O?

E&O isn't even required in AZ. However, I do have $100K. I only used it once or twice.

If it's not required in AZ, why bother with the expense? Never mind that $500K is a bit steep. Spend $$ on what IS required.

Never been asked how much E&O I carry. If I could see where not having a higher E&O was costing me business, then I would look into it. Until then, I will carry what I have to carry by law.

If you can find $500K let me know. A few title agencies told me I have to have this amount to work for them, but none could tell me where to get it. I've called a dozen insurance companies and most have told me that it doesn't even go that high. However, one company said that it's possible, the title agency's signers are probably getting this much because they are falling under their company's umbrella policy. Again, no one at any of these title companies could verify this or not. I carry $100K now. Seems to be a big mystery.
