Ever heard of TopDot Mortgage?
My wife saw a TV ad for this outfit. I've never heard of them and the limited research I've done doesn't sound great.

I've handled a few refi's w/them as lender/broker. The packages were large & a PIA, but I don't know much about the company. I gathered that they did a lot of radio advertising, and that's where they were getting their leads.

Agree with Marilyn. HUGE pkgs and are a PIA. I've closed a few of them, but its been a while. Not impressed with them.

Huge packages, over 200 pages with 3 and 4 copies of some docs. They are one of those brokers that way overcharge on FHA loans.

TopDot Mortgage does a lot of TV ads in Colorado. They remind me of the Countrywide ads that were everywhere years ago TV, radio, online. TopDot sure sounds very similar super large pkgs and super high charges. I wonder if they are also no pays like Countrywide.

The only ones I ever did where they were involved was through an ss, and I was paid, but not enough for the huge package.

They seem to handle mostly hardship or last resort cases. Paperwork is very redundant and not good quality. Lots of faxed and re-faxed or scanned and re-scanned docs that are blurred and lopsided on the page. Agree packages are huge.

I always have borrower balking at closings with these guys because thier fees are sooooo high.
lots of customers want to back out and go somewhere else. i can't blame them. i almost don't mind leaving the closing and not being paid if its going to mean $10,000 savings for the customer in the long run. rip off artists in my opinion.

I've done several of their refiances .... they're the ones whose logo can be read upside down also.
